Why No One Talks About Assistance Anymore
A lot of people do not really know what vehicle salvage is or at least they have a wrong idea of what it is. What goes on in their minds when they hear the term is a heap of metal which cannot be driven and is not worth anything. There is more to vehicle salvage than just having a junk vehicle. Although vehicle salvage can be a heap of metal which is worthless, it simply means the car is damaged and can be repaired.
Vehicle salvage has 5 categories, namely, A, B, C, D, and X. These all have their pros and cons. There is money in vehicle salvage and if you are good at it, then it can also be your main source of income.
The category A of vehicle salvage are those vehicles that don’t have a chance to be fixed anymore and are a total wreck. You can get very little car parts out of this vehicle like ECUs or car engines.
If a vehicle salvage falls under category B, then it is a complete heap of metal like category A but which can have some usable parts. But if you broke the vehicle salvage and sold the car parts, you would stand to make a profit. You cannot sell for profit a category B vehicle since it cannot be fully road worthy.
IF the vehicle salvage falls under category C, then you can earn profit from fixing the vehicle to be road worthy. It may have a lot of damage but it can be fixed to a road worthy state. If you have it fixed by a retailer, the cost may exceed its pre-accident value. To make profit on the sale of a category C vehicle salvage, you should repair it on your own or have it fixed in a garage that you have a relationship with. Since this category is almost near category B when it is almost on the border of breaking the vehicle for car parts, fixing the vehicle salvage up, you should always ensure that you can fix it up for a profit before purchasing.
In category D, the vehicles are always repairable and you can do so with a cost less than its pre-sale value. This gives you a clean profit. There is less damage in category D vehicle salvage than that of category C.
Vehicles under category X are the best vehicle salvage among the different categories. The cars in this category are either undamaged or has very little damage which comes from the wear and tear from the previous owner. These vehicles are simply stolen, recovered, or unclassified as being in an accident. This type of vehicle salvage makes the highest profit.
To summarize these categories, we have categories A and B that has car parts that can be used or sold, categories C and D are vehicles that have chances of being repaired and road worthy again, and category X is a bargain that should be bought of the spot.
