Hotel Edelweiss is located in the heart of the downtown Leavenworth Bavarian Village. It is the closest hotel to the park - literally across the street - and an easy stroll to all the downtown shops, restaurants and activities. #214 is the "Friedwiese Raum" a very large American Style abode with private bath and a large window directly onto the park. It sleeps up to five guests in two kings and one single bed.
Free parking is included with each room and located a half block East of the Hotel. There is 24-hour in/out priviledges and a reading raum that can be used for small meetings. All accommodations are on the second floor and some overlook the Front Street Park, Ninth street and the Icicle Ridge Mountains. There is no elevator. Rooms are cooled by ceiling and floor fans. There is no air-conditoning.
Rooms in Hotel Edelweiss are named after the great hotels of Bavaria. The entire buildng is a non-smoking establishment. Pets are not allowed. This is a quiet European style facility with no front desk. Checkin is at the Sunspot Resorts Office about a block West at 217 Eighth street open variable hours. Call ahead to arrange checkin time. If you want to be in the heart of the village this is your first choice.
